Senior MDA medic Ayelet Ram said, "This was a serious road accident between two private vehicles. One of the vehicles was on the side of the road with two passengers inside. The driver, about 50 years old, was unconscious with a systemic injury. We performed medical tests on him, but he was without signs of life and his death was soon confirmed. A girl who was also in the car and was seriously injured was treated at the scene and evacuated by helicopter to Soroka with the driver of the second car who was trapped and rescued while suffering severe injuries to his upper body."
