On this day, exactly one year ago, our nation was engulfed with sadness upon the death of Rav Aharon Yehudah Leib Shteinman ztz"l. Thousands crowded the streets of Bnei Brak as they accompanied the leader of our generation, while thousands more across the world mourned a sage who led our nation faithfully.
Even though he was already elderly, Reb Aharon Leib Shteinman embarked on a new venture to bring Torah to the world. He founded Yeshivat Geon Yaakov, and led the Yeshiva with devotion for the next four decades of his long life.
Rav Shteinman was not only the Rosh Yeshiva; he was a loving father to each student. He dedicated his time to give many talks in the yeshiva, and put in much effort to educate the students in the way of G-d and His Torah.
Today, on his first yartzheit, you have a special one-time opportunity to fulfill the final request of Rav Aharon Yehudah Leib Shteinman ztz"l – to support the yeshiva that he founded.
