Lt. S., the commander of the Southern Gaza Brigade's Bomb Disposal Squad:
"On Friday, during the violent riots led by Hamas, over 100 IEDs and explosive grenades were hurled towards IDF troops and the security fence.”
“Yesterday (Saturday) morning, we set out to dispose of the grenades and explosive devices which had been hurled at the troops.
“My squad operates non-stop in the area of the security fence. We are prepared and determined to defend the residents of the area."
