The IDF on Wednesday announced that the Golan Heights was not under threat and told residents to return to their daily routines.

School will be in session, and agricultural work will continue as usual, the IDF said in a statement.

However, any trips planned for the area must be coordinated with the IDF, and several tourist sites have been temporarily closed.

The statement emphasized that both residents and tourists must obey IDF instructions, which will be given as necessary.

On Tuesday evening, the IDF asked authorities in the Golan Heights to open and prepare missile shelters over "irregular activity by Iranian forces in Syria," across the demarcation line, and the Education Ministry canceled all school trips to the area.
