Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan will not speak directly about attacking Iran's warehouses in Syria, but believes Israel does not face confrontation with Iran.

"Of course we're not interested in such a confrontation, of course, but in the Middle East we always have to be careful not to prophesy," Ben Dahan tells Arutz Sheva.

"We made it clear to both the Russians and the United States that we have red lines that we won't be willing to cross and we won't agree for Iran to approach the border and commit actions that could threaten the State of Israel."

Rabbi Ben Dahan presented Israel's red line: "As far as we're concerned, as long as they don't carry out these threats and do nothing that can harm the State of Israel, we don't want war and we're not eager for war.

"There's no doubt that in the last few weeks Hamas has been provoking and sending its citizens, first and foremost its children, to harm the fence in order to try to infiltrate, but I can say that the defense establishment and the IDF are indeed prepared and thank G-d, in the past few week we saw that the IDF didn't let anyone cross the border and weren't able to harm the fence itself."
