Pre-Pesach rain to fall in Israel

Temperatures drop just in time for the spring holiday.

After two weeks of hot summer weather, Israel may receive rainfall just before Pesach (Passover).

Thursday will be hazy, with a significant temperature drop. Strong winds will blow, and the haze will settle gradually. There may be local rainfall in Israel's north and center. Thursday evening will see rainfall and isolated thunderstorms, mostly in northern Israel.

Friday will be cloudy or partly cloudy, and there may be local rainfall in Israel's north and center. Temperatures will remain lower than seasonal average, and the rain will let up during the afternoon.

Saturday will be partly cloudy or clear, with temperatures rising to seasonal average.

Sunday will see a significant rise in temperature, especially along the coast and in the lowlands. Temperatures will be warmer than seasonal average, and the air will be dry. During the afternoon, harsh northern winds will blow along the coast.
