Leader of the Lithuanian haredi Jewish community Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman will remain hospitalized in Bnei Brak's Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital.

Rabbi Shteinman, 103, was hospitalized in the hospital's intensive care unit on Sunday.

He is currently in stable condition and completely conscious. However, he is very weak and will therefore remain in the unit for observation and continued treatment.

Rabbi Shteinman will celebrate his 104th birthday in the coming days.

He has been hospitalized repeatedly in recent months, including a two-week stay in the intensive care unit after an infection was discovered.
