Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) announced that he intends to take part in a rally in memory of late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin on Saturday night in Tel Aviv.

"This is a national event, the unity of the people is more important than ever, and there's a huge attempt here to change the discourse under the heading of one people," noted Minister Ariel.

"There is no doubt that we must strive continuously, especially 22 years after the assassination, for a country where there is a respectable dialogue ... The nation progresses by learning history and I encourage tours of institutions such as the Kaduri School and the Rabin Center Schools."

Yesterday (Wednesday), Minister Ariel published in his social networking accounts pictures of his tour of the Kaduri School where Rabin studied in his youth. "Today marks 22 years since Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, the prime minister of Israel who was a commander in the Palmach and the IDF chief of staff during the Six Day War. I visited the Kaduri School last night, where Yitzhak Rabin was educated in the fourth graduating class (this is an agricultural school in which the best Israeli farmers were trained and educated)."

"Today students from schools around the country will visit the Kaduri School (also the Yitzhak Rabin Center, which I toured about two years ago), and this will be a welcome thing, among the questions that students will see on the board waiting for them at the school is: 'Israel, what kind of a country do you want?' There's no doubt that a country with a respectful dialogue is a principle that must be aspired to constantly! The leadership profession was taught at this school and Rabin learned well. May his memory be blessed."
