25 soldiers of the haredi Hetz (Arrow) paratroopers company completed their 60-kilometer trek on Thursday known as the Masa Kumta, meaning the trek to earn your beret, to join the prestigious brigade. At the end of the trek, they received the brigade's beret.

The soldiers, who enlisted seven months ago, began the journey with a Torah lesson from the rabbis of the Netzach Yehuda association, who have accompanied the soldiers from their first day in the IDF.

The Hetz company in the Paratroopers, which was founded less than a year ago, records a steady increase in the number of recruits since its establishment.

Last Thursday, for the first time, Hetz soldiers received their red berets at a ceremony held at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem, the site that symbolizes the heroism of the Paratroopers who liberated Jerusalem during the Six-Day War.
