Oded Revivi, Chief Foreign Envoy of the YESHA Council and Mayor of Efrat, responded to the building tenders that were announced for Judea and Samaria today (Tuesday).

"Announcements are nice, but bricks and mortar are what is needed. It's time to massively accelerate building across Judea and Samaria to accommodate the huge demand for housing. The era of timidly tiptoeing around with tenders has ended. What Judea and Samaria needs is serious building." said Revivi

He added: "For decades the peace process was overwhelmed by the false notion that 450,000 Israelis residing in less than 2% of Judea and Samaria are counterproductive. In reality, peace can only be made by people living and working together. The Israeli towns and cities in Judea and Samaria are the recipe for making lasting peace. Jews in Judea should no longer be shamefully counted like sinful calories."
