Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife, Srah, visited the Golani IDF base on the Golan Heights Monday afternoon.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and his wife met with the soldiers in advanced training courses at the base and spoke to them.

Among the soldiers was Private Benjamin Burns, a lone soldier from South Africa, who came to Israel to serve in the IDF. The Prime Minister called Nikki, Private Burns' mother, and spoke with her.

"You have a great son," Netanyahu told Nikki. "And you're a great and courageous mother."

The Prime Minister's wife said that she "admired" Nikki's courage in allowing her son to go to Israel to enlist as a lone soldier.

"We're very proud of him and of you," Netanyahu told her.
