A 28-year-old Brooklyn man died Friday evening, following a vehicular accident earlier that day.

The victim has been identified as Chaim Miller from Flatbush.

According to the New York Police Department, Miller was riding his bicycle on Ocean Parkway Friday afternoon when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

Officers found Miller after the accident lying unconscious in the street.

Emergency medical teams from the fire department and local Hatzolah organization were dispatched to the scene and provided first aid, before evacuating Miller to Beth Israel Hospital.

Doctors at Beth Israel declared Miller dead Friday evening.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident did not attempt to flee the scene and was not taken into custody.

Miller is survived by his mother, Gitel, and four siblings, including a brother and three sisters.

Relatives say Miller’s father passed away when he was a small child.

Miller was laid to rest on Sunday at the Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park, Yeshiva World News reported.
