U.S. Special Envoy Jason Greenblatt on Wednesday evening met with Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett.

The meeting was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman.

“Good meeting with @naftalibennett and @USAmbIsrael Friedman tonight. Helpful to hear all Israeli perspectives,” Greenblatt tweeted after the meeting.

Earlier on Wednesday, Greenblatt met with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu as well as with opposition leader MK Yitzhak Herzog.

On Tuesday, Greenblatt and Friedman met with Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

The meeting was held despite the fact that the PA had objected to the inclusion of Ambassador Friedman in the meeting because of his support for Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

Arab media reported that Greenblatt told the PA representatives that Israel had agreed to "slow down” construction of Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria during the peace process. The Prime Minister's Office denied the reports.
