Businessman Eddie Yakubov, a leader of the Bukharan Jewish community in New York, arrived in Hevron Tuesday with his family to visit the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

After the family prayed at the holy site Yakubov asked to see the site where Sgt. Elor Azariya shot a wounded terrorist following a stabbing attack last year.

Yakubov toured the site and received explanations about the event from right-wing activist Baruch Marzel.

"In America it would never have happened. It's a shame. This soldier should be free today," Yakubov said after being exposed to the details of the incident.

Marzel explained that as a result of the incident, "soldiers have come to a state where they think twice before firing [when attacked]."
