A new survey by the "Midgam Institute" and Dr. Mina Tzemach showed that if elections were held today, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would receive over 30 Knesset seats.

Netanyahu's main rival, Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid, would receive 22 mandates.

The poll was conducted for Channel 2, and showed that the Joint Arab List would gain 13 seats, identical to what it currently holds. Meanwhile, the left-wing Zionist Union would receive 12 seats, while the Jewish Home party would gain one seat, bringing its total to 9 Knesset seats.

The haredi Shas and UTJ parties would receive seven seats each, as would Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon's Kulanu party and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beytenu.

Extreme left-wing Meretz would receive six seats, and former Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon's new party would not pass the threshold to make it into the Knesset.

The poll also showed that if former Defense Minister Ehud Barak led the Zionist Union party, the party would receive 15 seats instead of the 12 it would receive under current leader Yitzhak Herzog.
