Wednesday will see a continuation of Tuesday's heat wave, with temperatures in the high thirties, reaching 40 in the south.
The heat wave is expected to break in the coastal plains on Wednesday afternoon, and during the night in other areas of Israel.
Expected temperatures for Wednesday and Wednesday night are: 18-38 degrees Celsius in Kiryat Shmona; 15-31 degrees in Tzfat; 18-34 degrees in Haifa; 19-33 degrees in Tel Aviv; 16-34 degrees in Jerusalem, and 18-40 degrees in Be'er Sheva.
Thursday will be pleasant, with a sharp drop in temperatures. Temperatures will be close to average for the season.
Friday is expected to be partly cloudy or sunny, with average temperatures for the season.
Saturday will be pleasant but see a rise in temperature, especially in Israel's interior and mountainous areas.
