The Rishon Lezion Magistrates Court on Sunday rejected a plea bargain reached with former Judge Yitzhak Cohen, and convicted him of sexual harassment.

Cohen, who was a judge in the Nazareth District Court, will be required to do public service.

According the proposed plea bargain, Cohen would be required to admit guilt, but would not be convicted.

The plea bargain also included a less severe public service sentence.

However, the Rishon Lezion court rejected the plea bargain and convicted Cohen.
