Rabbi Mordechai Krauss, who headed Yeshiva Oros Chaim for over 30 years, has passed away.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Jewish world was shaken by the news that Rabbi Mordechai Krauss has passed away.

Rabbi Krauss, in his youth, studied under Rabbi Binyamin Paler at Yeshiva Mekor Chaim, and later under Rabbi Soloveitchik in Yeshivas Brisk in Jerusalem. 

A passionate student and teacher, Rabbi Krauss went on to lead Yeshiva Oros Chaim (Institute for Advanced Talmudic Studies) in Kew Garden Hills, Queens for more than 30 years, together with Rabbi Doniel Lander. He is survived by his wife and children.

His funeral will take place at 10:00 AM EST, at Yeshiva Oros Chaim in Kew Garden Hills.
