Rookie Likud MK Anat Berko tore into MK Ahmed Tibi Tuesday in a one-minute speech from the floor of the plenum.

Berko, a former IDF intelligence officer, began her speech by noting that Tibi has blocked her on Twitter.

Tibi studied gynecology, she said, “but instead of concentrating on helping to bring Arab and Jewish life into the world, he preferred to embark on another career – that of Arafat’s consigliere.”

Tibi has also defended MK Taleb Abu Arar, she noted, regarding the latter’s bigamous household, when he described Abu Arar’s bigamy as ‘his faith.’”

Arafat murdered more Jews than anyone since World War Two, Berko added. He created the modern face of terror – and Tibi continued to serve as his aide even after a PLO terror group hijacked the Achille Lauro cruise ship and threw the wheelchair-bound and elderly Jewish hostage Leon Klinghoffer overboard to his death.

Finally, Tibi delivered an infamous speech in Ramallah in which he lauded the “martyrs whom the Occupation wanted to call terrorists,” she said. His effectiveness, she said, stems from the fact that he appears affable and knows Israeli society well, and can therefore point to its weak spots.

Tibi was not present in the plenum when she spoke.
