Forecast: Pleasant skies - for now

Brief heat wave forecasted for the weekend, which will break with unseasonable rain.

The pleasant weather is to continue Friday, before a brief heat wave next week. 

Highs Friday will reach 27°C (80.6°F) in Katzrin; 23°C (73.4°F) in Tzfat (Safed); 32°C (89.6°F) in Tiveria (Tiberias); 24°C (75.2°F) in Haifa; 24°C (75.2°F) in Ariel; 25°C (77°F) in Tel Aviv;  24°C (75.2°F) in Jerusalem; 33°C (91.4°F) in the Dead Sea area; 24°C (75.2°F) in Ashkelon; 29°C (84.2°F) in Be'er Sheva; and 34°C (93.2°F) in Eilat. 

Another heat wave is expected for Saturday and Sunday, especially in central Israel.

This heat wave, unlike last week's, is to break within 48 hours; light rain is even forecast for Tuesday, coming particularly late in the spring season.
