An Oklahoma tractor driver had a lucky escape on Tuesday, after his tractor was engulfed by flames in the middle of a massive wildfire.

The driver was rescued by two storm-chasers who happened to be filming the scene nearby.

The incident occurred in Woods Country in northwestern Oklahoma, where nearly 30,000 acres of land have been swallowed up by a major wildfire.

In the video, the TV crew can be heard talking in the background as they record a tractor driver desperately trying to drive his vehicle away from the rapidly approaching flames.

Suddenly, his vehicle becomes immobilized, and the film crew begins shouting for him to escape on foot. The farmer eventually did so just in time; seconds after sprinting to the car the fire engulfs his tractor completely.

The film crew themselves appear to come perilously close to the deadly inferno, before beating a hasty retreat in reverse.
