The Hamas newspaper Falastin carried an article on Monday that claimed Jews in Hevron and Jerusalem held Purim ceremonies portraying the killing, torture and expulsion of Palestinians from "their land."

As proof, the author said that "settlers" uploaded a video to Arutz Sheva showing the 2009 execution of journalist Obeida Dweik in Hevron. Despite the claims of celebrations and executions, Dweik (who was a journalism student) was wounded during a police confrontation. Security forces brought him to a hospital, where he ultimately died three weeks later.

Needless to say, there is no video on Arutz Sheva of anyone "executing" Dweik.

He added that the "settlers" celebrate their Jewish holidays by performing "horrible crimes of murder with the support of the occupation government and military commanders" and that there is a rabbinic "blessing" which "permits murdering and executing every Palestinian without discretion."

"The execution of Abdel-Fattah al-Sharif (the neutralized terrorist killed last week) was intentional and supported by the rabbis. It expresses part of the Jewish religious rituals, which embarrasses the occupation state and reveals the true face of its military, which is killing and causing bloody terror against anything Palestinian."
