United Hatzalah medics arrived Wednesday night to a home on Binyamin Mintz Street in Bnei Brak, after a 15-year-old boy was found unresponsive.

After numerous CPR attempts, the boy was pronounced dead.

“This is such a tragedy, according to the boy’s family he lost consciousness while asleep. When we got there, he was completely unconscious and his pulse had stopped,” a volunteer medic said.

After lengthy resuscitation attempts, the paramedics were unfortunately forced to declare his death.

They explained that the boy apparently suffocated during his sleep.
