An indictment was filed this week against an Arab who sent death threats to former Foreign Minister and Yisrael Beytenu chariman Avigdor Liberman on Facebook.
The ordeal began in early January when a formal complaint was filed by a Knesset officer to the police, after the Arab started sending Liberman threatening messages favoring jihad, and expressing his intentions to carry out attacks inside Israel.
On his Facebook page, the Arab posted photos of Israeli Arab terrorist Nashat Milhem bearing the inscription “We are all Nashat,” as well as photographs of Hamas terrorists holding assault rifles with a message expressing sympathy and support for the Hamas Al-Qassam Brigades "military wing."
The Arab was arrested at the Allenby Bridge border crossing to Jordan at the end of last month, where upon questioning, he admitted to the charges against him.
