Killer rabbits hopped from the iconic Monty Python and the Holy Grail screen to real life Thursday, after a bunny named Jack attacked animal shelter staff in Cornwall.

The six-month-old rabbit was brought into Maria’s Animal Shelter in October, the owner told Yahoo! News, and has since bit two people. In one incident, he chased his victim across the room.

"One lady who volunteers at the shelter put down a carrot for him while he was running around the main room and he latched onto her hand and would not let go," Maria Mulkeen, the charity's founder, told the news site. The victim now has a scar.

In the second incident, she said, "I heard a scream and I ran in to find Jack running around the room repeatedly biting" a second victim.

An animal psychologist has been called in to deal with the rampant rabbit, she said.
