Hundreds of Kiryat Arba residents descended on Jerusalem on Sunday morning demanding security be restored to roads in the Hevron area of Judea.

תושבי קרית ארבע מפגינים: "נלחמים על החיים"

Both parents and children participated in the demonstration outside where the Prime Minister's weekly Cabinet meeting was being held.

Kiryat Arba's school system was shut down on Sunday for all grades in light of the security situation.

The strike and demonstration were organized following a series of recent terror attacks in Kiryat Arba, southern Hevron and Gush Etzion.

Protestors were particularly angered over the murders of Kiryat Arba residents Rabbi Ya'akov Litman, and his 18-year-old son Netanel.

The Litman family was on its way to a Shabbat Hatan – the Sabbath celebration for the groom before a wedding – for daughter Sarah-Tehiya's fiancee when an Arab terrorist waylaid the car, murdering the two and wounding another son, Dvir.

Demonstrators carried various signs including those demanding a return to security on roads as well as other bearing Rabbi Litman's face alongside the slogan "fighting for life."
