Oren: Netanyahu Made History With UN 'Silence'

Prime Minister Netanyahu's minute of silence had the desired impact on the audience inside the UN, former US ambassador says.

Kulanu party MK and former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren praised Prime Minister Netanyahu's performance at the UN late last week - and said his dramatic 45-second silence had the desired impact.

"I don't think I ever recall anything like it in the history of this organization, and I saw how it impacted the people sitting in the hallway," he told Arutz Sheva.
