Congressmen Steny Hoyer (D-MD) and Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) issued a joint message of support for Israel at the AIPAC 2015 conference.

Standing together behind the podium and alternating at speaking, the two reminded the audience of the onging cooperation between the US and Israel on missile defense, and specifically – the Iron Dome, David's Sling and Arrow systems.

They also announced that they would be the senior members of a congressional delegation scheduled to visit Israel in the summer.

“In an increasingly unstable world, where Christians and Jews and moderates and minorities are both sigled out as targets of the worst acts of barbarism and violence, the alliance of two of the world's greatest democracies is more critical than ever,” McCarthy said.

Hoyer flollowed up, intoning: “There has also never been a more critical time for that alliance to remain strong and bipartisan.”
