US Secretary of State John Kerry, in Israel for his tenth visit since taking office, has been raising serious concerns with his security arrangement proposals that would include a full Israeli withdrawal from the Jordan Valley - as well as much of the rest of Judea and Samaria - over a period of 10 years.

While some Israeli officials, such as Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar, are using logic to argue for the security necessity of having an Israeli presence in the region, others have turned to humor to point out the infeasibility of Kerry's plans.

Jewish Home's secular branch recently produced a parody teaser trailer for a film entitled "American Bluff." The trailer, which borrows liberally from Marvel's 2012 film "The Avengers," can be seen here:

"The surreal American propositions about drones, sensors and warning stations to defend us are an insult to the intelligence," said Inbal Lieber, head of Jewish Home's secular branch.

"Soon they'll be sending us transformers and decepticons," added Lieber, referring to the popular sci-fi series and movie "Transformers."

"Security is achieved by an army and by a presence of settlement, and certainly after the American accomplishments in Syria, Egypt and Iran, it's better that they don't advance proposals which in the end Israelis will pay for in blood," argued Lieber.

Kerry's proposals, which analyst Mark Langfan has argued are a "death trap" for Israel, are said to have been rejected by Israel's Defense Ministry, according to unconfirmed reports.

For his part, Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has called annexation of the Jordan Valley by Israel a "red line," and rejected any Israeli presence in the area.

"In these days when peace talks are being held with our enemies and the Americans are pressing us to concede on more and more, it's proven again that we don't have anyone to rely on but ourselves," concluded Lieber.
