The U.S. Congress recently celebrated over 360 years of Sephardic Jewry in America.

The special event paid tribute to the contributions of the Sephardic community to the United States and Jewish culture.

Yehuda Azoulay, founder of the Sephardic Legacy Series, and Raymond Saka, one of the honorees at the event, told Arutz Sheva about it.

“This is the first time ever in Jewish history that Jews from around North America, Sephardic Jews in particular, are gathering together,” said Azoulay.
