Tragedies struck several Jewish vacation spots in upstate New York over the weekend, reported YourJewishNews.com, citing emergency workers.

One incident involved a 22-month-old boy; a second involved a 14-year-old and a third involved an 8-year-old. All are in critical condition.

In the Cold-Spring bungalow colony in Monticello, New York, two boys, a 22-month-old and 3-year-old, snuck into a pool area despite the fact that it was secured by a gate. The 22-month-old boy fell into the pool.

"People came running after they heard the 3-year-old boy screaming. They jumped over the fence to help. The 22-month-old boy was pulled from the bottom of the pool in cardiac arrest," David Ross of YourJewishNews reported. "Catskills Hatzolah workers attempted to revive the boy for about an hour, at which time they managed to restart his heart."

He was flown to Westchester Trauma Center in Valhalla, New York, where he was in critical condition.

In another incident, a 14-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from a pool at Camp Stolin in Highland, New York. He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

In the third incident, an 8-year-old boy drowned at Ichud Bungalow Colony in Monticello, New York. The boy was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
