The world’s oldest Jew has passed away in New York at the age of 113.
Evelyn Kozak, whose Hebrew name was Chava Rivka, was born in New York on August 14, 1899.
Kozak had five children. She outlived two of them. She is survived by three children, 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. 
She was recognized as the seventh-oldest person in the world. The person who was first on the list, 116-year-old Jiroemon Kimura of Japan, passed away Wednesday.
Kozak's funeral will be held in Queens, in New York City.
