Two PA Arabs were indicted Thursday for carrying out a terror shooting attack against an IDF base in Samaria and for trading illegally in arms and weapons. The two are being held until legal steps against them are completed.

According to the indictment, the two planned a shooting attack against the “Salam” army based in Samaria. The two were seeking revenge on Israel in the wake of Operation Pillar of Defense, they told investigators.

The two, driven in a vehicle by a third individual, used two assault weapons to fire about 30 shots at soldiers on the base. Several of the bullets hit a building where soldiers were located. No one was injured in the attack. In addition, the indictment said, the two were engaged in illegal arms trading.

Investigators said that the attack was carried out under the direction of arch-terrorist Zakharia Zubeidi, who supplied them with the weapons and the vehicle.
