American armed forces recently joined the IDF for a joint emergency rescue drill to teach soldiers how to save lives.

The IDF and the U.S. Army have a long history of cooperation, and in the drill two weeks ago, the joint armed forces trained in extracting injured victims from a collapsed building, clearing paths through debris and navigating in the chaos that is left by a natural disaster.

The IDF holds similar drills each year with teams from the U.S. armed forces, in order to pass on valuable knowledge and prepare for future disasters.
