Rabbi Froman
Rabbi FromanArutz Sheva: Flash 90

Rabbi Menachem Froman of Tekoa, one of the leading rabbis in Judea and Samaria, was hospitalized in recent days in a Jerusalem hospital after his medical condition deteriorated.

A few months ago, Rabbi Froman was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. Since that time, he has been undergoing treatments while continuing to give Torah lessons in his community and continuing with his duty as a rabbi.

Several weeks ago, Rabbi Froman visited the Binyamin community of Migron, which is currently under a demolition threat, in order to strengthen local residents. During the visit he said, “The State of Israel’s mission is to build, not destroy! There are all kinds of Jews, with all kinds of religious and secular conceptions, and what unites them? The love for Israel.”

The rabbi’s family has asked the public to pray for the full recovery of Rabbi Menachem Yehoshua ben Leah Raizel.
