Thousands of Israeli flocked to Hevron, one of the four traditional holy cities, to celebrate the Passover holiday.

Likud Cabinet minister Yisrael Katz said in Hevron that the presence of the large crowd “is the answer to leftists who arrived to Tel Aviv to announce the establishment of the Palestinian Authority as a country – an empty declaration void of any significance.”

One visitor told Israel National News TV, “We did not leave Egypt to create a Palestinian Authority state."
