Peres to the Pope: Terrorists Are Justifying Beheadings Through the Quran

Former Israeli President Shimon Peres met today (Thursday) at the Vatican with Pope Francis. 

Peres told Pope Frances that "Terrorist organizations are justifying beheadings by quoting passages of their Quran - there must be an international anti-terror coalition formed, and one of the mandates religious leaders is to bring about tolerance and reconciliation," he said.

"I, for one, appreciate your show of support in the dialogue to bring peace among all peoples," Peres stated.
