As protests rage in Tel Aviv's heart to secure refugee status for illegal immigrants, one illegal immigrant was busy committing the type of crime the Infiltrator Law seeks to prevent.
Channel 2 reported Monday that a 45-year-old man of Sudanese origin is suspected in the stabbing of a restaurant manager on Lilienblum Street - just a half-hour's walk away from the protests. The manager suffered moderate injuries; he was admitted to nearby Ichilov Hospital.
