Arab Teenage Terrorist Caught with Pipe Bombs

Army soldiers Wednesday arrested 16-year-old Arab at a checkpoint near Shechem with three pipe bombs. Sappers neutralized the explosives. No one was injured.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has deployed hundreds of armed policemen in Shechem the past several months in an attempt to prove they can control terrorism. The PA has complained that the presence of the IDF interferes with their status, but Israel has maintained that the PA policemen deal mainly with criminal and traffic offense and do not tackle the problem of the terrorist infrastructure.
