We Need A Minyan! (10 complaints)

Obama’s State Department has just made yet another anti-Israel move – this time against Israeli produce made in Judea and Samaria.

The State Department’s spokesman Mark Toner innocently said this is a mere customs regulation update, because “9 or 10 complaints” were received about Judea and Samaria. YOU can make sure that the pro-Israel side is also represented by “9 or 10 complaints”  (at least!)

Read all the details, then take action below – 3 easy steps!

STEP 1:  read and listen here --

STEP 2: click here: https://register.state.gov/contactus/contactusform

Fill in the form, then enter a  suitable “message”, such as:

I am writing to complain about your new regulation against goods made in any of the many Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria: http://apps.cbp.gov/csms/viewmssg.asp?Recid=21420&page=&srch_argv=gaza&srchtype=&btype=&sortby=&sby=

Your regulation says: “goods that are manufactured in the (so-called) West Bank  ...shall be marked as originating from ‘‘West Bank’. It is not acceptable to mark the aforementioned goods with the words ‘‘Israel,’’ ‘‘Made in Israel’’ ....Goods that are erroneously marked as products of Israel will be subject to an enforcement action carried out by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.”

This is disgraceful. Everyone knows that the many Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria are NOT part of the Palestinian Authority whose establishment prompted the original version of the above regulation. The Oslo Accords, signed by the United States, state this specifically (the 1995 Accord states on page 19 that “the jurisdiction of the (Palestinian) Council will cover West Bank...except for...settlements”).   Also, “West Bank” is a loaded term which insinuates that Judea and Samaria is an extension of an Arab country (Jordan). This is offensive because in actual historical and legal fact, Judea and Samaria are an integral part of the land of  Israel.

I insist that this new regulation be rescinded. Goods made in Israeli communities must be marked “made in Israel”. I look forward to hearing from you.

STEP 3: Confirm to mattot.arim@gmail.com that your complaint has been sent. We will be counting to ensure we get 10 complaints – or even more.

Thanks for helping Israel. There is nothing stronger than a minyan of people (10 people) all united in their support for Eretz Yisrael.
