The Knesset held a Special Session on Wednesday to debate “Israel: The Nation-State of the Jewish People”, commonly referred to as the Nation-State Bill.

On the floor the usual scenes transpired, as often happens in this vibrant democracy - shouting, paper being assaulted, and MKs being cast out of the room.

Arab MKs were particularly vociferous and said, “If the bill had only stated that Israel is an Arab state with Arabic as its official language, we would not be having this debate!”

“You have an Arab state, it's called Jordan!” retorted another MK.

“Where's the confusion - Jewish State, Jewish Right of Return, Hebrew is our language, and Jerusalem is our capital, all occupiers out!” added another MK.

“End the Arab Muslim occupation of Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem since 638 CE!” demanded another MK.

Suddenly, a giant green eraser fell from the ceiling and proceeded to a map of Israel on the wall, erasing the Green Line and continued its erasure until it reached the Euphrates River! “Shocking! Scandalous!” yelled the Arab MKs.

In the meanwhile, a side argument broke out between the Ashkenazim and Sephardim on whose cuisine tasted better, each demanding it be put to a vote and for the outcome to be put in the Bill.

The Knesset would sober up by noon the next day, and no one on that day disagreed that Israel is a Jewish State.

Israel's Air Force on Thursday roared - STAND BACK - as it parted the skies, bringing thunder and lightning to Hamas targets in Gaza, hitting hard 150 sites following a barrage of rockets (180) into Israel, while Abbas played cheerleader.
