Impeaching a country

We are at war against nobody except ourselves.

As we write this, there appears to be ceasefire on the Gaza front, but things could change, depending how far Iran wants to push its proxy, Islamic Jihad.

So even if it holds, rather than hundreds of rockets per day from Gaza, Israel can now expect a few now and then aimed at Jewish homes and schools; only seconds to reach a shelter.

In other words, back to normal.

Yes, that has been the norm ever since Ariel Sharon cracked down on Jews in Gush Katif for the sake of “security, peace and tranquility” with the Palestinian Arabs.

This is what it looks like. This is peace in that neighborhood.

People ask – how would the United States react if such attacks came from, say, Mexico?

Well, we do not need Mexico, when we are on the job at home. We are at war against nobody except ourselves.

The Israelis have no such luxury. When the wartime shofar sounds, all come running. They know what’s at stake – everything.

In America, we don’t know what this means. We have no bomb shelters. We need no bomb shelters. Nobody is bothering us. The stadiums are full. The shopping malls are abundant.

Therefore, we have plenty of time to invent troubles. It gets that way when civilizations have it too good.

We are big, rich, powerful, and no one dare touch us, and because we are in a world of our own, we have the luxury to ruin ourselves from within.

The Democrats are doing a masterful job at this.

They feel ignored, and since there is nothing like a crisis to attract attention; they invented a crisis.

They came up with impeachment from the moment Trump got elected, a result they refused to accept from day one, up to now, this latest chapter. Those public hearings on impeaching Trump, and thereby the entire country, are intended to correct what they believe to be a terrible mistake, which only they can fix.

Therefore, we all must suffer, the entire 325 million of us, so long as Schiff, Pelosi, AOC and the rest of that crew are mollified and happy.

Knowing what we know, and seeing what we saw from the first act of these televised hearings, that is, Adam
They will break away from the pack and declare, not in my name. Today or tomorrow, they will announce themselves as voting NO. This is either a prediction or wishful thinking.
Schiff’s Really Big Show…and oh how he pined for this…the bright lights and the chance to make history as the man who brought low a president…the guessing here is that moderate Democrats, the few that are left, will Cry Uncle.

They will break away from the pack and declare, not in my name. Today or tomorrow, they will announce themselves as voting NO. This is either a prediction or wishful thinking.

Meanwhile in Israel, they do not know what it means to be so lucky, so lucky as to have the luxury to create problems.

Out of thin air come rockets, and they are mindful of this every day, so that even politics takes a breather.

True, Israel’s “Democrats” want to do for Netanyahu as our Democrats want to do for Trump, but in Israel the political silliness ends when the fighting begins.

The Israelis fight for existence; for the lives of their homes, families and children. They know the enemy, that he is staring them in the face border to border.

In America, the enemy is within.
