'We are seeing an increasing number of children forgotten in cars. We can fight this, by looking into parked cars – it saves lives,' says Yedidim CEO, Yisrael Almasi.
Meir Weiner (43), founded Yedidim in 2006. It has since become one of the most prominent volunteer organizations in Israel.
A kindergarten teacher was able to rescue a baby trapped in a locked car thanks to her volunteer training with Yedidim.
550 religious teens took part in a special day organized by the Yedidim organization, in preparation for their military service.
