Foreign Ministry Strike

In 1921, Albert Einstein presented a paper on his then-infant Theory of Relativity in Sorbonne University in Paris. "If I am proved correct," he said, "the Germans will call me a German, the Swiss will call me a Swiss citizen, and the French will call me a great scientist. If relativity is proven wrong, the French will call me a Swiss, the Swiss will call me a German, and the Germans will call me a Jew.” Political, economic, social, or judicial actions are unlike Physics. Particular actions or inactions may not always be in positions to be proven beneficial or inappropriate based on their immediate outcome or even their impact down the road. In a politically divided society like the US, there are always those who support the president and those who find faults in his every move. And if the president happens to be Jewish; if Bernie Sanders becomes the next president, the Einstein Theorem above will hold at every turn. It will not wait for proof of it being right; it will be claimed proper by some, mostly Democrats, and improper by others, mostly Republicans. The Democrats will refer to it as the American President’s move, while some Republicans will act like the 1930’s “Germans”—the anti-Semites amongst them will see it as proof of a Jewish conspiracy. A Bernie Sanders presidency will bring about a rise in anti-Semitism in the US. And this rise will draw its fuel from one more principal source, a source embedded in a sick leftist ideology that has been infecting a great deal of the academia in general, and young people in university campuses across the US in particular. Left-leaning ideology is an ideology obsessed with rooting for the underdog, the poor, the deprived, the loser. As a rule, the flag bearers of this standpoint are quite aggressive—even to the point of turning violent—in their quest for saving the world from its villains. They represent David against Goliath, Don Quixote against the windmills, “Good” against “Evil”—or so they believe. There is a problem, though, with the left-leaning approach. Equating “Good” with the underdogs and the losers, “Evil” with the successful and the winners, is not always proper. Losers, much like the Palestinian Arab leadership, in most cases, have brought the misery upon themselves and upon their people through their own actions, while the successful, just like the Israelis, more often than not, have worked hard and legitimately before attaining their status. Of course, there are cases to the contrary, nevertheless, profiling by picking “good” and “evil” based on “poor” and “successful” respectively, is ironic, wrong and improper. It is true that the state of Israel used to be a favorite among many left leaning personalities up until she won the Six-Day War in 1967. That war changed the geography of the Middle East. Israel’s, unexpected, but magnificent triumph, over several, better-equipped Arab enemies, transformed her image from the underdog to the occupier. All of a sudden, the nation of Palestine, which had not existed before 1967, the smallest community of the huge Arab nation, became its own nation. A splinter set of Goliath’s teeth, a former aggressor turned loser became a favorite of the left, while the winner, the former underdog, the David, became the villain—It had won and therefore it was no longer the smaller fry. And now, a candidate for president of the US, Bernie Sanders, takes on the anti-Israel flag, trying to protect the Palestinian underdog, blaming Israel for inflicting misery on the “poor” Palestinians without regard to the fact that the Arabs who dream of wiping Israel off the map have brought about this misery upon themselves. The more alarming part of this potential consequence; the force that grants this leftist anti-Israel agenda more credibility is the fact that the left-leaning candidate for president happens to be Jewish. And here is why this phenomenon is quite disturbing. When we want to make a point about a controversial issue, we look for an expert; we look for someone who is personally embedded in the question, while supporting our position. But for the ultimate impact, we look for an individual, who is affiliated with our adversary due to his/her personal relationships, bloodline, background, religion, or any historical connections, except, he is a traitor. Bernie Sanders would be the perfect pawn if he becomes president of the US. The fact that he is Jewish, who would betray the special relationships between the Jewish state and the US, would be viewed as the weightiest authority in support of the anti-Israel forces, of BDS, and of anti-Semites everywhere. If a Jew, an insider, stands up and condemns Israeli “aggression” than it must be proof that Israel is a “criminal state”, and Jews who support its “crimes” must be reviled. And since Israel-haters and other anti-Semites do not know which Jew supports Israel, they will presume any Jew to be a suspect, thus bringing about a significant rise in anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism is already here in the US. Most people ignore its potential for spreading quickly like wild fire if Bernie Sanders becomes president. Evidentially, most people take this potential danger lightly because it’s disguised as innocent and open information. One example of disguised anti-Semitism is the fact that when Paul Newman died, the media said how great he was but then failed to mention he considered himself Jewish (born half-Jewish). When Helen Suzman who helped Nelson Mandela died, they said how great she was but they failed to mention she was Jewish. When Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling, Martha Stewart, Randy Cunningham, Gov. Edwards, Conrad Black, Senator Keating, Gov. Ryan, and Gov. Blagoyovich messed up, no one mentioned their religion or denomination because they were not Jewish. But when Ivan Boesky or Andrew Fastow or Bernie Madoff committed fraud, almost every article mentioned they were Jewish. There is no doubt in my mind that Bernie Sanders will become a failed president if he ever makes it to the White House. He will not be able to fulfil the grandiose promises he throws around. Not only half of the US, the Congress and half of the governors will stand in his way and will make sure that he fails, but even without that gigantic obstacle, Socialism on the level Sanders proposes has been shown to throw a country into a depressive economic mess anytime it has been attempted in recent history. But at this junction, since Sanders is Jewish, everyone will refer to him as a failed JEWISH president, implying that Jews cannot be trusted to govern from the White House. It’s all the Jew’s fault, they will say. I definitely hope Sanders falls short of getting the necessary number of delegates in his quest for the top job. I hope that Americans wake up to the enormous damage his potential reign could inflict on the US, both economically and the homeland security front. Don’t vote for Bernie Sanders.
