Dov Rozman, 58, of Netanya, was the victim of yesterday afternoon\'s terrorist shooting near Kibbutz Magal. He had come to buy textiles at the Arab market outside the village of Zeita, where he was shot in the head and chest. His death brought to 164 the number of Israeli victims of Arab violence since the current war began 11 months ago. MK Michael Kleiner (Herut) reacted with a call for stronger military action against the PA: \"To my great sorrow, even Gandhi [Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze\'evi of the National Union Party, from which Kleiner split away in February 2000] has cold feet and does not dare to talk of retaking the Palestinian Authority... Retaking the territories will cost blood and be very painful, but it is the unavoidable price for Israel\'s future security.\"

Doron Sviri, 20, who died from wounds sustained in Sunday night\'s terrorist shooting on the Jerusalem-Modi’in road (Route 443), was buried this afternoon at the Mt. Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem. Sviri was the brother of Sharon Ben-Shalom, who, together with her husband Yaniv, was also murdered in the attack. The couple\'s baby daughters remain hospitalized at this time.

Residents of Karnei Shomron, east of Ra\'anana and Kalkilyeh, established an outpost on the highway near their homes today. They say that the outpost is for security purposes, and is located at the spot where Arabs murdered Tchiya Blumberg three weeks ago. Her daughter and husband were seriously wounded in the same attack.
