Throughout Saturday, the IDF operated against several terrorist activities in south Lebanon that posed a threat to the State of Israel.

In one case, the IDF identified a Hezbollah terrorist who posed a threat to the troops deployed in southern Lebanon in violation of the agreements and understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF struck the terrorist.

"The IDF is operating according to the agreements and understanding between Israel and Lebanon, maintaining the ceasefire conditions," the IDF clarified in a statement. "The IDF remains deployed in southern Lebanon and will operate against any threat posed to the State of Israel and its citizens."

The ceasefire deal between Lebanon and Israel went into effect at 4:00 a.m. on November 26, but held for just a few hours before Hezbollah terrorists violated the deal by nearing the Israeli border.

Since then, Hezbollah has continued to violate the deal, and the Lebanese government has largely ignored the violations, leaving enforcement up to the IDF.

On Tuesday, Defense Minister Israel Katz on Tuesday warned, "Our policy, together with the IDF, is clear and unambiguous. We will act with great power in order to enforce all of the understandings of the ceasefire agreement, and we will use the maximum response with zero patience."

"Yesterday was the first test. They fired towards Mount Dov as if it were out of the regular discourse or given to interpretation. From our perspective, it is not given to any interpretation. We responded powerfully and we will respond with precision and not allow Hezbollah to return to its previous methods, such as a tent which was set up and not attacked. We are not in those places anymore. Everything that was - is no longer."
