Five young members of the Ger Hasidic court from the city of Arad were caught in Lebanese territory after crossing the border.
IDF forces caught the five and handed them over to the police who took them for questioning in Kiryat Shmona where the continuation of the legal process in their case will be decided.
Police investigators are trying to crack the motive for the severe act, especially in light of the fact that the suspects were haredim who came specially from southern Israel to the northern border.
The police clarified: "Entering areas near the border fence is forbidden and dangerous, crossing the border with Lebanon is illegal and is punishable by up to four years imprisonment."
