Two men were injured Wednesday morning after a rocket exploded near them as they worked in agricultural fields near Metula in northern Israel.
No sirens sounded before the rocket strike.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, sirens sounded in the Central Galilee, Hamifrats, Hacarmel, Ha'amakim, Upper Galilee, Sharon, and Menashe regions due to a surface-to-surface missile launched from Lebanon.
An IDF spokesperson said that the missile broke apart in midair, and that there is no change in the Home Front Command's guidelines for the Israeli public.
On Tuesday night, a UAV hit a Nahariya factory which produces components for aerial equipment. The IDF confirmed that "a UAV was identified as having fallen in Nahariya," adding that, "the craft was noticed by IDF systems a short time before it fell. The incident is being investigated."
A similar incident occurred Sunday in the Bar-Lev industrial zone near Carmiel: A UAV launched by Hezbollah directly hit a factory which produces components and ensembles for airlines around the world.
Two employees who were in the factory suffered light and moderate injuries, and another nine suffered shock. In both instances, no sirens sounded in the area. The UAV hit the roof of the building, and the shrapnel hit vehicles parked nearby. The employees who were injured by the explosion were in the parking lot at the time of the hit.
