Arutz Sheva - Israel National News' English, Hebrew- and Russian-language sites were attacked Tuesday morning.

The distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack hit all three sites, and originated in the Indonesia region. In it, the site was swamped with the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of simultaneous users, which caused the servers to crash.

The attack began with the English-language site, but crashed both the Hebrew- and Russian-language sites as well.

Arutz Sheva's technical staff has succeeded in overcoming the cyber attack, which staff said lasted four hours and twenty-nine minutes in total.

The attack was reported to Israel's National Cyber Directorate.

Recently, Arutz Sheva experienced attacks on social media as well, with users reporting content. In one such incident, X, formerly Twitter, blocked Arutz Sheva content regarding a terror victim who died of his wounds, claiming that it constitutes hateful content.
