Prime Minister's Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, Sara Netanyahu, met on Sunday in Kiryat Gat with IDF lookout Ori Megidish, who was rescued by Israeli forces from being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza, and embraced her warmly and offered emotional support to her and to her entire family, which participated in the meeting.

Ori told Mrs. Netanyahu that her physical and mental health were excellent, that the state is closely involved, and that she already aspires to return to full military service.

Ori recalled that throughout her being held hostage, she said: "I will not allow anyone to defeat me" and added, "Even when I was there, I was not afraid of them."

Sara Netanyahu told Ori and her family that she supported and embraced them, and was moved by Ori's strength.

Sara Netanyahu told Ori, "On the day you were freed, my husband told me that he hopes for good news and that all of our hostages, our soldiers, are my children. Your heroic release in a daring military operation was a ray of light to the entire people of Israel in dark days. I am so pleased to see you here in your home. We all love you and are proud of you."

Ori and her family thanked Sara Netanyahu for the visit and asked her to convey their deep appreciation to her and to the Prime Minister.
